Office of Federal Service of State Registration, Cadaster and Mapping
The Office of the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadaster and Mapping is a territorial body of the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadaster and Mapping, shortened name is Rosreestr Office, which performs the following functions:
- state registration of real estate and related transactions;
- Providing public services in the field of state real estate cadastre;
- carrying out state cadastral registration of real estate;
- cadaster activities;
- State cadastral valuation of lands;
- Land planning;
- state monitoring of lands;
- geodesy and mapping;
- naming of geographical sites;
- navigation support of the transport sector (excluding air navigation services for aircrafts flying through the airspace of the Russian Federation);
- state geodesical supervision;
- state land use control;
- supervision of self-regulated appraisal organizations and their activities;
- supervision of the work of bankruptcy administrators, and self-regulated establishments of bankruptcy administrators;
- state metrological supervision in geodesy and mapping;
Note: Currently land management functions are divided among three organizations:
- Office of the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadaster and Mapping (OFSSRC&M);
- Committee for Land Resources and Land Management (CLR&LM);
- Land Cadaster Chamber (LCC);
